For that reason we’ve enacted a strict data policy
WEBSITE USAGE
No personal data is collected, saved, or shared when browsing the website. No account creation options are available.
ORDER DATA
Information submit by users for the purpose of ordering items is protected, then within 24hrs fully removed from the online system and encrypted. Once your order is fulfilled all personal information is removed from the offline drive as well.
Care Package Delivery orders will receive an email update in 1-3 business days with your shipping tracking information. This tracking number is generated separately from your order (no tie to ordered items), added to a blank box with no business name, and the return address is a local PO box.
Care Package Pickup Available for Pittsburgh locals. We’ll email you to arrange the details then delete all emails and personal information once you receive the package.
Just A Card orders will be shipped in 1-3 business days through standard mail with no tracking.
We’ll have no way of checking tracking or past orders, but if you don’t receive your card within 5 business days, please email us at info@nightshadetea.org and we’ll send you a new one.
DONATION DATA
Information collected through Givebutter is subject to their company’s privacy policies here
RETURNS
Since all items are free, we encourage you to pay-it-forward by giving any unopened supplies to friends, family, or a local community support donation center (not a thrift store, they don’t want Bacitracin).
If you would like to return any unopened supplies to Nightshade for redistribution, you can mail them to the PO box on the return address label. You will be responsible for shipping fees. Please email us beforehand at info@nightshadetea.org so we know to look out for it.
Once our physical location opens you may bring items back in person for no charge.
